Founded in 1996, MATPRO is a not-for profit organisation that specialises in providing maternity services within the Capital & Coast DHB district.
If you live in the Wellington, Porirua or Kapiti regions, MATPRO can help you access a Lead Maternity Care (LMC) midwife to care for you during your pregnancy.
We also provide free pregnancy and parenting antenatal education classes in both Newtown and Porirua that you and your partner/support person can attend together. You will learn what to expect during the later stages of your pregnancy and how to prepare for the arrival of your baby.
